88 inch of pure pleasure

sorry i mean the original bars from the lower roof to the higher part the ones i have seen are made of 1.5 inch possibly 2 inch tubes bent to the original shape hope that helps i carnt add a pic as i carnt find one lol

hi seen these on a few discos around but cannot find anyone who sells them they replace the original roof bars fitted to the discovery any help on who to get them from would be good

heard of a 2 post lift not using hi-lifts though

just got a little info from the old owner he bought it from down south devon area i think he said it was fitted with simex 33's on it and all built by previous owner to use as a challenge truck it had detroit diffs in it two????

im also running thos set up wit procomp +2 and i have to say i carnt complain one bit i was swayed a little with the mixed replys good/bad on this kit but up to press a* in my oppinion

unreal i was only up at dougs other day and he was looking faward to getting out winching in a couple of weeks with it.it is a worrying thing im only 2 mins drive from him and now i feel my truck could be next??? f***ing ba**ards

yea ive seen that truck on rds looks quite good.as for events im looking to start out winching i no im never going to be a champion?? but id like to go in with some hope of being a competitor not cast aside so to speek

thanks for your help guys i was hoping to centralise the rad to miss the steering box when i pull it back,this in turn means there would be no room at the side of the rad for the intercooler so my options were to fit a charce cooler somewhere,or buy a different style cooler that would fit above the winch??redben101 what made you remove the charge cooler and what was the fit like under the bonnet??

thanks guys some very impresve kit there i understand the 88'' is not a common truck to use but its different i also have too much cash rapped up in it to start agen,my trucks only 5 inch shorter than a mates tray back 90'' surely it wont make a massive difference? as for the articulation problem readind TOR mr andrews truck has 5 feet of flex so it must be able to be done keep your pics and info coming tho its realy healpfull and stops me feeling bad about my lack of LENGH

i know what your saying mate im having big probs finding anything at the moment but surely some ones done a few i no everyones raving over the 100'' but if a 88'' is ballence'd surely they would be as good as anything??

i know what your saying matey but i was hoping to remove the viscus fan and cowel and push the rad right back into the engine bay in effect the winch would be behind the grille toatally..

thanks for you quick reply mate ive been looking on flebay and found some smaller coolers i was worryed that with the intercooler been behind the winch it may cause probs,the rad should'nt be that bad with it having a electric fan??

hi been looking at moving the rad back on my 200tdi defender so i could put my 8274 behind the grill.ive been looking at charge coolers for saving space etc but will they damage the engine as a everyday thing as info says good for 1/4 mile etc???
