hi iv started making my trucks wb longer today i hit the first big problem iv got all the chassis cut etc im using the protection and preformance longer radial arm etc so i went for a trip to the local steel stockist with the dimentions of the chassis sections i need...................sorry sir we dont have any box that size so what now the size is 3.1/2 inch by 5.1/2 thanks paul

iv made up my mind im having a set trouble is the set i had dibs on are now gone so its back to the search but thanks for all your info guys you made my choice much easyer

i didnt want the post to cause a argument its plain to see that building a set of strong lr axles isnt cheap the lc ones are ahead with the twin locker as standard so they just seemed a little more attractive to me.both pb and rougevouge use them yes i see the cv's can be a issue but ive heard nothing elce

is this true id read that the cv could be a problem but as for the rest of them i was lead to belive that they would stand up much better to some right foot and plenty of off road

i might take you up on that offer im going to be needing some parts as i build my truck up would you be interested in the fabing of them it wont be a quick build but slow and sure and as money allows.

i have a pair of axles lined up for my truck there the 80 series with the twin lockers etc.iv not seen them in the flesh as of yet but before i spend £700 on them i wanted to no if the diff offset would cause any problems on a 90 being used on road.all the posts show 100inch trucks with them fitted.thanks paul

im starting to swap my truck around for winching it started out as a 88'' iv got a extention kit from p&p for the radal arms and a frame which will make it a 95''wb but i want to bob the rear tub does anyone have some good pics and advise on doing this mod and any pics of a finished truck thanks paul

hi last night a very good friend had his defender 90 stolen around 12.30-1.00am in the sheffield area a old f reg fourtrack was seen around the area and found left round the corner from my friends house 2 lads were seen in the fourtrack we think that the had come for both his trucks (his dad has one too).the stolen 90 is green with a silver truck cab,painted silver chassis,a 2 inch lift procomp shocks,yellow britpart springs,retro fitted 200tdi out of a disco,300tdi wheels,just had the bulkhead corners welded and the left hand door repaird at the bottom.any more info let me no please or the police id love to catch the theving scum..
