hi guys quick question does the front to back brake pipe on a defender td5 110 run along the top of the chassis or along the side? I have a ready made one an ready for fitting it but cant figure out which way it goes on the top or the side? many thanks

Hi all. Im looking for a place where i can get coolant pipes from gearbox to gearbox coolant radiator. Iv got a discovery 2 td5 coolant radiator on. Anybody done this kind of conversion that might beable to help? Cheers

Hey guys. Iv been offerd a nanocom unit for mi defender but theres no diagnostic cable with it. Does anyone know which cable it is ? Some say its an obd then others are saying numbers to me. Anyone able to confirm? Cheers in advance

hi all im setting up the brake pipes on my td5 defender 110 iv no idea which pipe goes where from the master cyinder to the proportionate valve. i have a diagram but it shows the old setup. i know one of the pipes from the master doesnt go to the valve an goes straight to one of the front calipers but which? does anyone know which pipe on the servo goes to to which port on the valve? many thanks chris

hi all again. i have a borg warner transfer box on a td5 110 defender . but unsure as to whether the standard propshafts will fit an just wanted to check before going out and buying them.? thanks for any help guys as always

sorry i should of said ideally im after direct cable entry im told rod entry can be quite complicated ????? and i dont really have any one to direct me through it.

ok guys, iv put a borg warner range rover transfer box onto my td5 auto defender . handbrake question would a defender td5 handbrake drum fit onto a borg warner ? or maybe a td5 discovery hand brake drum ? im only asking as iv no idea what will work with the defender hand brake lever? iv never done this before so i appologise if its a dumb question i dint want to buy the bits before knowing what to get . thanks in advance

definatly somthing to consider cheers for that. also iv had a thought (whilst loosing sleep over it) of maybe fitting a bracket on the front x member an have it hang down and the air will hopfully come between the bumper and steering guard direct to the cooler . i was going to have a look today. ill defo consider them options as well . cheers

hey guys iv got a td5 defender iv been building with a discovery td5 auto box. its got the larger performance intercooler on it but my problem now is i have no room for the transmission cooler. what would you guys suggest? i dont really want the aircon type grill on it as i dont really like them . any help? cheers

thats brilliant is it a bracket you fabricate your self? also im assuming you use an adjusting bracket like the one on the standard alternator? many thanks for your help.

Hey guys, im on with rebuilding my discovery 200tdi. i have one with aircon which im wanting to replace as the old one decided to pack up on me. but im also wanting to put an additional alternator on and wondered if theres a way of putting one on without doing away with the aircon. ? any ideas? cheers guys

i cant quite remember iv been building this defender since i wa 17 back in 2007 and just got the rest of the engine to finish . i think they where internal bolts but cant remember which ones

ahh right nice one. i can vagly remember reading somwhere i should maybe change some bolts as well, is this true if so which ones would you suggest?
