hi do all disco 2 transfer boxes have the diff lock in them even tho some have no diff lock lever? and what would i have to do to mine to adapt it to have a diff lock. cheers

hi just wondering how would someone go about putting a brake shifter lock solenoid on a automatic defender td5. it has the td5 disco 2 auto box and console. but how would someone wire one up or even start to put one on? or is there another solution. cheers all chris

i tried chassis paint they put on artic wagons. all i did was rub the surf and paint on looks quiet good as opposed to what i was expecting.

i do appologise i was meant to ask which one would i be best fitting its goin on a discovery td5 auto box.?? cheers

hi all. iv got a defender td5 auto on the build. im planning on putting a viscous transfer box in , but just been looking at a range rover manual and they look to have electrics that control them. may be im rong but do they all have to have electrics to control them? cheers chris

hi all. im at a stage in my rebuild where i need battery systems. whats the best sort of batteries to use on my vehicle. im running a split charge system. its a defender td5 110. it will be running winch,x 4 spot lamps , x2fog lamps , maybe 3 work lamps, heated seats 4x and all the usual bits on a defender and alarm system. dont know whether it makes a difference but the engine will be tuned as well. what does everyone recommend? cheers all chris

hi . iv got a td5 auto box without an ecu. if i got an ecu would it need programming to that auto box even tho the ecu is out of another td5 auto . ????? cheers all chris

im putting a auto on my td5 defender. which auto box am i supposed to use. and how can i tell which is which.? iv heard people talking about 4hp22 auto boxes and others talking about a 4hp24. which shoulod i use or get to have rebuilt. cheers all. chris

hi everyone. iv got a 200 tdi discovery. the steering feels heavy but every now and then it goes back to normal. nice and smooth. could it be the steering damper or do you think the power steering pump is on its way out. cheers chris

are the td5 fly wheels the same on both auto and manual. i.e the same on an auto discovery 2 td5, as the defender td5 manual. cheers all.
