  3. ?? Fence ?? Think you mean the Cavitation plate these exist to keep surface air from reaching your prop all outboards and stern drive have them in the leg. bar little ones of about 2hp !!

  14. After siting on the end of the rope, at max length out, whist Jim/Victor flapped about think I fancy investing in a new one !!!!, and maybe splicing the current into a extension piece !! If the forum are not in a position, to buy a discounted reel,s worth, I have not problem in doing it, and passing on the balance at cost, !! so long as enough members are interested
  15. Thanks Guys, 100 ft of 11mm it is then, as what i have on there already, (but with a knot !!!) Do have 100ft of 9.5 bowrope, but feel a little on the thin side, that can go on the rear, when i get round to it !!
  16. Thanks Andy-T,,, Much appreciated info, The line on my 8274 is, or was purple, so sounds like plasma12 ?? so will go for this again, so never had a problem, just need a bit more length !! What's the best option for the 8274 ?? 125 foot of 11mm ? what's everyone else got ??? Did i hear someone say a forum members Discount ??

  19. A handy thread, as I am also thinking of replacing the front line,, very happy with what I have, but no idea what it is !! (Maybe SteveG knows) think it could also be Plasma 12 ? by the look of it, it has been spliced in the past, but has never given me problems, Did buy some of the Dynemma bowrope from David Bowyer, for the old defender, but is not thick enough and only the same length that's already on the 8274, so been earmarked for the rear Huskey, when I get round to it !! Sorry Si,, again,, probably not a lot of help With out hi jacking Si thread, believe the best for the 8274 is 11mm x 125 ft ? am I correct, could be a group buy !!

  21. Andy Have you seen Trev's (LR90) site ?? has a spring Calculator Trev's springs Hope you did not mind Trev,, i found it usefull re the Talban wagon
  22. Mmm, I have a couple of set's of the later rolled rim type,, and so far, had no problems,, best I give them a good check over !! But would think twice about buying any new ones, if the attitude of the manufacturer is as quoted above !!
