hi, few years ago I put a discovery 1992 200tdi engine in my 1987 defender, now i'm doing a project with ex mod 1991 110 same thing discovery1993 200tdi engine now on the first engine got a hose comes out of rocker cover at the front left/side which goes back into engine block below but on the other engine there isn't one, what is it for ? dd
hi all, would a td5 or 300tdi brake pedal and servo fit my 1991 defender with a 200tdi discovery engine in it,i know the clutch will just wondering about brake and servo thks
hi, what I have done is mated a lt77 defender gearbox to a discovery 200tdi engine all hoes drilled out counter sunk bolts in to attach clutch housing on properly ( got photos somewhere try and find them and post ) which puts the slave cylinder on the other side of gear box would steve parker down pipe conversion still fit or would I need to fabricate something . dd
hi, I have ex mod 110 td 1991 rolling chassis project which was a van td, at the stage now where I want to fit exhaust system on it, I know I will have to alter the down pipe to fit discovery 200tdi engine I've put in it as I did with my 90, I want to make it into a station wagon but which is the correct exhaust system and part numbers would be a good help thks dd
hi, after part number for little cylinder that's fits on pipe work for slave cylinder where it comes out of gearbox and the master cylinder fits in with a push fit system mine has snapped theres a 11mm male nut one end and master push fit the other wondering if you can buy these separate,
its a td4 misses said its coming from pedal area so i'm thinking slave cylinder you can hear it when depressing clutch pedal and when you let pedal back up its a brand new slave , dd
the wifes freelander 2001 diesel 2.0, some months ago fitted new clutch and master & slave cylinders now first thing in morning hard to get gears but when warmed up everything is ok can hear suction sound when depressing clutch pedal , dd

its alright mike thought I dropped a clanger offered gear box upto flywheel housing the studs that didn't line up already had the pilot holes there so just drilled them out and tapped with m10 all bolted up nicely dismantle tomorrow and put the m10 120mm countersunk bolts in for ladder rack, dd
yes mike just wondering how hard/difficult it is to pair 200tdi defender lt77 gear box to discovery 200tdi engine, on my 90 conversion the 19j flywheel bolted straight on discovery engine so defender gear box paired up is it the same with 200tdi defender gear box dd
what I wanted was to pair defender gearbox lt77 with lt230 1.4 transfer box to disco 200tdi engine I also have a discovery lt77 with lt230 1.22 transfer box but didn't want the gear levers sitting to far back so if defender lt77 can't be paired up and have to use discovery lt77 was going to put 1.4 transfer box on the discovery gear box, was told 1.4 is better than 1.22, dd
I put a discovery 200tdi engine and gearbox in my ninety which put the gear levers further back in seat box, I have a discovery engine free of charge and was going to put this in a 110 with the defender gearbox and keep gear levers as normal would it work dd
