Sounds like a bad fuel pump. Should be able to hear it gurgling, particularly after replacing the regulator. Did you turn the key on and press the accelerator 5 times? As a matter of maintenance, would be wise to replace the injector harness if you haven't in a while.

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Could possibly be the fuel regulator. What happens after you run the priming sequence? Turn key to on, depress accelerator five times. It will cycle a few times then stop. Will it start after that?
-
Have you been able to connect it to a Hawkeye or nanocom? Any error codes? Possibly grounding issue? When you say no oil leaks... you are talking about the ECU red plug, under the offside seat? That should be clear. How old is the injector harness?

Floor mats for a 1971 Series 2A 109 6cyl Station Wagon
jabber replied to ed_mcgaugh's topic in Series Forum
I'd recommend using horse stall matting and cut to shape. You can start with cardboard templates, then place the template over the mat and cut with a knife. It's REALLY easy. -
I think QT sells an alternative to the A-frame joint (may be a jj) that bolts in place. I've seen quite a few setups with jj at the chassis end. I think they work really well, so long as you keep 'em lubed. They are pricey for the run of the mill off-roading, though.

This one is much cheaper.... While across the pond, you could still be ahead; and it's generally the same thing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Webasto-HotShot-Microheat-MH34SA-Windshield-Washer-Fluid-Heater-Deicer-NIB-/191450387632 Attached is a pic of both squirters... When you pull the plugs for the LH wipers, save one for replacing the center squirter. As mentioned, just purchase two new... Mine broke off when I removed it.

There's a kit on eBay for heated washer fluid (believe it may be from webasto). Just mount the unit under the bonnet, then run the power switch to your dash, and main power back to a spare fuse near the battery. You then tee off the washer line running to the front windscreen. It's easy to install. As for the sprayers, I'd just pull the single center spray; and add two sprayers where the plugs are for lhd wipers. It's a great mod, and more than enough juice to cover the screen.

110 td5 fuel gauge still not working after new pump

You'll need a multi meter. The td5 fuel gauge wires run from the pump through the speedo, to the fuel gauge. Does your speedo work properly? -
Help - Advise needed on brand new galved chassis
jabber replied to Pastycrimper's topic in Defender Forum (1983 - 2016)
Get in writing, the issues and ask them if they'll stand behind anything that may crop up with it. As in covering the costs to fix it. I'd say that dull area would be fine, since the process is a coating. If it looks bad, you could always get some galvy spray paint and make it shiney again. -
Make sure all the hose clips are tight. I found the stock clips to be garbage so replaced almost all of them.

Fleabay has the wurth exhaust studs in question. Picked up a set myself. -
I've never seen a plug/cover. I believe you are thinking of the trailer plug.
