silly question why would a MOT test place pull a handbrake on at 30 MPH

that is the nail knocked on the head that is exactly where it is leaking from, not massivily, will see about pricing up new tank now

where abouts are the breather pipes and i will check them as well

yeah was badly worded. I have just been out and had a proper look at it and can someone tell me if what i am thinking is right. It looks like it is slowly coming out of the join between, the joining of the two tanks. Is there a seal between the two halves.

Did you find it looked like it was coming down the tank as well will take some pics in morning if still doing it

Was in B and Q the other day and bought one of these great little 92 peice tool kit for the back of the landrover. Was only £30 as well

All Think i might have a bit of a problem. I was messing around on a grass verge earlier and when i got home noticed that there was a smell of fuel and around the filler cap and sides there was marks of fuel overflowing, Tank was very very full. I have since been back out and underneath on the tank there is marks of where fuel had flowed down the side underneath the tank and there was a little spillage on the ground. Could this just be from being over filled and then playing around, as i am sure i have read this is common. Land rover is a 110 defender V8

Might have been short but they certainly have a good production team to keep coming up with the ideas like the limo's, grow your own fuel and all that and every now and then throwing in a nice car or two

Hi all, Wipers started having a mind of its own today and not switching off, suspecting that the relay is stuck, does anyone agree / disagree and if so do you have a part number and suggested place to get the relay from. Cheers

Hi all, Looking at doing a few patches to the middle cross member and was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of what to use. There is only a few patches that need it, so does not really justify putting a new one on.

That is a nice roof mount for the radio's you should see about marketing it

Not going to say go V8 it is a prefernce but like everyone has just said if you have just rebuilt it then stick with it as you know the engine etc. On another note, at 15 the on road performance should not bother you just yet
