Thanks all, the only problem i have is that i am running a 3.9 V8 petrol so i am struggling to get a heater as such, unless i fit a small Aux tank for the diesel but then that would mean i would have LPG, Petrol and Diesel in the landy
Looking at sticking a self recovery winch on it and from looking at that one from first four yeah i agree it might look a bot flimsy. Think i am going to have to search round a bit more, so if any one has any recommendations for both the bumper and the winch let me know
Starting to put together my shopping list for things to buy and top of it after cab heater (see seperate post), is a winch and bumper. I have seen the Guardian bumper on Eblag has anyone bought one of these and if so are they any good.
If you towing away from the main roads etc ie in the desert like you are saying i suppose you could go as fast as you feel comfortable with. I am sure you will be able to gauage what speed you can do from what the trailer is doing. if it is sitting nicely behind you without moving around you are fine where as on the other hand if it is jumping all over the place you are going to fast.
Just came across this on on eblag can someone take a look and advise as have never fitted one of these before.

I know of a very big breaker yard in Lincolnshire but not sure what he has got in the way of LAndrover bits, i am going across there next weekend for a proper look and will post back, what sort of thing are you looking for.
Yeah i have seen the ones on Ebay and as you said they are mainly either diesel or are not complete. Don't really want to add an aux fuel tank as that would mean the Landy was running with Unleaded, LPG and a diesel tank, now that would cause some concern at the pumps.
Hi all,
Just thought i would see if anyone has installed and if so what type of cab heater. I am running a 3.9 V8 110 County and with the winter months appraohing i am turning in to a girl who like instant heat. Does anyone have any recommendations and if so which one and how easy was it to install.
Well, what can i say had my first full on off road expierence today and what an enjoyable thing it was two.
Apart from a part of the fuel line system leaking (easy repair) i had what was the best time.
Will be doing that again
Thanks for all the help i am starting to move away from the vinly door cards again and back to chequer plating easier to wipe clean when covered in carp and it looks that little nicer
I have the company that quoted my that on the other comp at work so0 next time i am in the office i will post it on here. Didnt think it sounded to bad a quote. With regards to the chequer plate havre started to think how to do it as you say will probably need something behind it not sure what i could use yet
