  5. Must be a thing with rebodied disco's blew the slave cylinder on the D-Lander on the way back from Stockton after colleting it from shaun
  6. Ok I will own up and say I have one of these and it does the job I have not had any welds break, metal bend or any of the other things mentioned in this post. It just presses things, at the time it was all i could afford, and yes i did worry that it would be disposable but i have had it three years now without misshap. The ony thing I would say is that they dont come with much in the way of formers to press against and I have had to make some for myself for the jobs I do freqently such as radius arm bushes. Yep would be nive to have one with all the bells and wistles but it does the job for less than half the price! Like an earlier post says you pay your money and take your choice.
  7. I know you were saying about money being tight and getting another in a year or so. I hit some hard times a while back and my landy of ten years looked like it needed to be sold. I did the same thing priced it all up selling off the off road gear apart from the motor. In the end I mothballed it all and got it back out a year later, saved myself a fortune cos you never get what they cost in money and time to create the monster. My advice for what its worth is try to keep hold of it, especially if you are thinking of getting another later on, park it up protect all you can on the car and come back to it when you can afford it. But what ever you decided good luck with your efforts.
  8. Yep joe thanks for a great weekend get well soon
  9. Yep we got it, nigel should have the photos, it was a real bu**er, but thanks to Mark and some innocent bystanders whoi helped shift rocks and spare wheels to make a sort of bridge with bridging ladders we took the punch. Oh and as usual I have posted in the wrong place and put my thanks in the international forum after thinking i was being clever and doing a search over there. Oh and had to change my username as lost the other one ???? so from this day forward I will be known as D-lander, anyone want to buy a slightly used 90, with hover facility
  10. Andy has written a piece on EGT gauge use you can find it here http://www.red-ibex.com/EGTgauge.htm
  11. Just wanted to say thankyou to all those that organised the dirty weekend in wales, I still have the bruises from being bounced around getting some of the pegs. A great weekend and I know that lots of work went into it, for me it was a good way to have a last play with my old 90 (maybe) before setting about building my new truck. So once again thanks to all!
