You can change one of the ring pins for a padlock.
-
I saw Pete today,
his phone never seems to stop ringing.
-
same as the cills on a range rover,
there is a tech thread.
-
'Orange' refers to Scorpion Engineering (as was)
Les.
they had a nasty "habit" of copying other peoples work, having it made cheaply and selling for more to fools.
-
so cheap "orange" tat then?
-
What about the autopaint bloke in toll bar?
-

Temporary structures are up to 28 days.
are you going to move it that often?
dont forget if its over 30m2 floor area it needs B Regs, whether it needs planning or not.
-
Look on ebay,
most transport places will do it as a back load for about a pound a mile.
-
Im pretty sure they omitted the dipsticks and went to a filler bolt like manuals.
-
I dont think you can get the bearing seperate to the hub?
-
'Safe' is a relative term when driving a discovery, they don't exactly have many euro ncap things
but I feel far safer in a disco than some euro tin box make out of a crisp packet.

What are you ever going to do against oxy cutting gear?
Stainless steel cant be cut with Gas Im told.
iv'e allways fancied afull lenth 100ft winch cable fastened very securly up near the hitch of the trailer and to something very solid behind it , curling it up out of sight i'd be a real shock to the system to get stopped instantly at 15miles an hour
mine has a 3m chain just enough to make them stop, and hopefully enough noise.
-
we managed a caravan, our disco, and a visitors car, so you should be ok.
-
Im sure I used grease in my first Range Rover in the mid 90s.
anyway take the drain plug out and see whats in.
-
yup. series ones had two bolts, and series 2s have one.
-
The garages were "supposed" to paint the filler plug yellow to show it had grease in.
-
weld a nut on it.
-
So we all agree then?
-
if you have any thread left to screw an old nut on, hit the nut, it saves spreading the stud end.
-
ORRP do like nipples tho
-
It is Richards, the trains run past, I dont think they fit them.
-
I have them on mine,
they seem brighter, but I used led bulbs, (make sure you use directional ones, as there isnt a reflector.)
the wires have 15 amp male ends that wont quite fit in the disco plug, a few wipes with a file and they do fit.
one more thing, make sure you use sealant when fitting as they dont have body seals.
