mine is having light guards to prevent the thieving b&^£*ds

No but it will fail an MOT, and use a lot more fuel,
change it, its only a couple of quid and a 2 min job.

The bracket can be bent up to give more room, a cable tie makes sure it stays there.

My TDS is the 9500 one, I can only say I am more than happy with it.

I have been with Flux for a few years,
they were one of the few who knew what a bobtail was.
I always ring around for a better quote on renewal, the last few times I have got them to pricematch, last week from £280 to £215, the modded disco is only £150,
apart from one mix up,(dont think many customers have more than one of the same car) its all been ok.

Look in the footwells and up the top of the side panels.

as said its mainly time, not skill you are paying for,
I know there is a bit of skill in welding, but with a bit of practice its not too hard,
I did the cills on my Range Rover the other year, it took me a full weekend, I guess with breaks etc about 10 hours total, so if the garage charge £30+ per hour??
for that sort of money you could buy a Mig or Im sure someone on here will offer to do the work, if you gave a location?

I would look at the heater hoses too,
Its happend to me twice on different cars.

On my D1 I have the CB slotted in the map pocket above the sunvisor.

Open a word document,
type in Britpart
then hit the spellcheck,
I wonder if they do this stuff on purpose?

Sorry to hear about the engine,
just a point for next time, and everyone else reading this,
block the air intake, it kills the engine.

4X4 R us are doing rear X members,
there work is usually good, and a competitive price.

is anyone else a bit concerned that at £30 any aldi shopping numpty can be tempted to start hacking his chassis about and then hurtling around the countries highways and byways in a barely held together missile
I worry just the same when I go into B&Q etc, and see people walking out with boilers and a trolly full of plumbing/electrical gear.

Mine literally is a one finger job,
it pulls out so easily and fast, i am still so pleased with it, after the ramsey died,
I would check that its mounted flat as said.
