even if my cars not finished as we speak

Mate,
You would be staggered what they do with them. They take the 4.2, 4.5 and 4.8 straight sixes bolt a turbo the size of my engine to the side of theres and take off !
Andrew Cassar, Pete Mikalof and Adam Bird (and many others)all do this. Birdie went down the quarter mile in sub 14 secs and his is not considered the fastest
@Daan: Your not wrong Whats your thought on helmets? You usaully have a different take on stuff like this?
Thoughts?
Jim
Ps: That entire DVD will be available for the Gigglepin stand @ Billing or just come and watch as we'll have the DVD running all weekend.........Bring beer....
jim- can i pre order a dvd just now then as i wont be at billing?

Anyone looking for a relaxing holiday? one of our friends in Proto Class has a broken navigator and needs a new one, enjoy stunning scenery while it tries to eat you, realise sleep is a luxury none of us can afford, provide pinpoint direction to a psychotic driver at speeds that make you feel sick while operating a laptop and reading alien country, add in the spice of knowing if you get it wrong then bad things are going to happen - free tent supplied.
must add its Roope. in which case you must either be clinically insane or tr3/proto experienced. ability to get to Russia with a visa in the next few days is essential
must resist temptation

i installed a touchscreen laptop into my 90 for running Xnav & memmap, basically made a cradle that was screwed between the top on the dash & the main section & the laptop sits vertically which with the screen open it sits just aslightly above my garmin, will take some pics to night so you can see what i mean, nothin fancy but holds it in place

Another weekend of knocking bits of my 90.........

i like the pic in LRO with the steering arm clamped between to chunks of steel that look like they were bashed out the sheet with a hammer & chisel & held in place with a M14 bolt he found on the farm

from what i can understand fitting water injection to a derv wont do what you want it to,
on a petrol engined vehicle its used to slow the burn as such & lower the chance of DET, however on a diesel engine that uses compression ignition if you slow the burn it in theory should give a loss of power & a bit o wasted fuel going out the exhaust as it didnt get burnt fast enough
