Dew CSW at his best
-
I don't remember him on there - what was his login?
If it was the same as here I may just have ignored him as it doesn't ring any bells.
dew1911 i think
his first post contained aprox the following
" i am a 30Yo P38 4.6 driving IT specialist, throw in a couple of links of other sites where he got outed for being a liar & fake, flamming started & then was never seen again"
i offered to meet up with him once, was after he started to get personal on another forum & i wanted to show how i felt
-
He could try ORRP
He tried but got p3wned in about 7 minutes
-
ohwell
that will be dew110csw banned from nearly every 4x4 forum in the uk
& i did mention it back in the beggining
-
glad to say i drove to the event, did it & drove home again,
even if the handling was somewhat strange due to bent rear arms & shocks,
-
see the ZF4 pump that comes with the mile marker kit for fitting to the 200tdi in the aircon slot,
is that man enough for the job for making the winch fast enough & pull enough like the one on petal? or do i need to throw that TF & use a different pump?
Currently got an XP powered 8274 & "may" consider changing sides
-
i know on my 90 i drilled the 2 holes out so i could get a better bar in the hole to hold the pulley to undo the bolts holding the pulley to the waterpump
-
-
I finished the event with no broken bits & drove home
just got to wash it & count the bent bits
so far: roof, dented both wings rear tub........
-
loks like a 200tdi defender due to where the bracket is mounte on the inner wing & also the T's on the airbox itself
-
hmmmmm setting of at 11 & should be there for 12,including stop in perth for brunch & Fuel (SVO FTW)
or could leave a tad later

You need to drive a 200TDi 110 to appreciate difference. TD's don't romp anywhere except on the back of another vehicle. At 65-70mph the engine will be at it's limits which is not good for this engine. If you think the stuff in your pictures were difficult, then I'm afraid you are in for a bit of a shock.

OPEN EVENT!!! We'll be welcoming members from other clubs to Drumclog for a wee Treasure Hunt/Challenge type event!
There will be punches hidden around the site and you'll be required to not only find them, but to get your car close enough to punch the card attached to your vehicle... Sounds easy, but there are various reasons why this might prove hard! It may be well hidden, awkward to get to, or downright impossible! The event is planned as a multi-level event with green, red and black punches to be achieved.
Green punches will be for everyone and will be easier (well, I'll say now, that is the plan, don't hold me to it by the end of the day!)
Red will be for RTV prepared motors - greens may attempt these if they wish but must understand it is solely their decision and they should be aware damage is possible.
Black are for well prepped motors and the odd eejit in the red class who has left their brain at home! Green vehicles are not permitted to attempt Black punches but might find watching someone else try it entertaining enough!
Entry - £25 per vehicle, members of other MSA clubs are welcome (it would be great if you can tell us if you're coming, what vehicle you have, what class you're likely to be in, etc so we can make sure we have enough of the appropriate coloured punches! drumclog@divetech.org)
Times -
08.30 - 09.30 Scutineering and class division
09.50 - 10.00 Driver's briefing
10.00 - 16.30 Go get the punches!
16.30 - 17.00 (hopefully long enough to recover Michael Robertson!)
17.00 - Prizegiving and social chat before the BBQ is lit!
23.00 - Lights out (haha, well, it looks good!)
There will be camping on the Friday and Saturday nights - which leads nicely onto the RTV the following morning! Contact contact-person: Graeme Barrie (SCUBA) Email: drumclog@divetech.org
