My car had a little failure and noise a time ago, and it was fixed by entering the correct injectors codes (they were all bad). Check with a Nanocom your codes....

I want to remap, but have to change my ECU (not flasheable)
-
Hi. Today I was doing maintenance to all electronics of the car and verifying settings of ECU. I found that all my injectors settings were lost, so I change again all of them to te real values. Only for play, I changed the throttle to 3 way.... and it works, and was a really great improve in driveability and response. It really is a 2 way accelerator type, but seems like 3 ways can be used. Drive around 3 miles to my house with no concerns and good response. Can this damage anything? can this set make the car go to limp mode? I checked and Nanocom showed the way 3 voltage correctly..... I'm sure the throttle is a 2 way, can it act like a 3?

I've been googling and read in various post that NNN ECU have a very improved anti stall software over the MSB (mine is a MSB). Is this exact?
-
But finally what did you decide? Disco or Defe?
-
I have just seen some videos about anti stall in TD4, and it really is a LOT better than my TD5 one. Is there any way to improve it?
-
Tommac, how much does it cost these seals and washers? do you have the code? anything else that must be changed?
-
PM sent. I'll check the other side and let you know.

Simon, can you please let me know in what section of the workshop did you find this photo? my manual doesn't have photos, only diagrams.
-
Thanks a lot Simon. I have checked and don't have this little box near the inertial or the water deposit. I found these bolt (I think it comes from the fuse box held, one of the two bolts that fixed it to the bulkhead) and the space near it seems to held something that isn't there:
I see this free fixed poins here, do you think the white ground is the thing that is not here:

Somebody told me about a ground connection in a white box in engine bay, can anybody be more specific with photos or instructions please?

I have the wire all the time since 2 years ago with no troubles at all..... very dusty and wet conditions

Today I was cruising with my 110 when suddenly all instruments in dash went off..... right now I don't have fuel gauge, temp gaugem speedo, odo, nor turn lights. Also, car started to jittering when accelerate, as if wastegate arm was stucked, but check and everything is OK. I Checked all fuses and relays, all is OK. Any idea? Nanocom instruments mode shows all values with no problem, so I suppose it's a ground conection, but don't know which one. I have just checked 2 chassis one and 2 passenger base one, everything loos just fine,..-.....

110 has a great advantage in some situations. Often they have a lot more traction due to his lenght (when an axle is in slippery terrain, the other one likely to be in a good one, like in short hill climbs or big rocks). Aditionally, you probably will have more strenght transmision and suspension parts (Salisburty diff, HD suspension)..... The worst problem is exit angle.....

Maybe your flywheel is asking for a change,,,,,,, but I'd rather to try first which woody says....
-
Does this works in my TD5?
-
Have you make the oil pump fix? maybe you have some little play in the pump and it can't send correct pressure.....
-
I have a 110 and use to have a Rottweiler, a Labrador and a Basset Hound, with no matters or concerns in space. Hoqwever, we also have 2 88' Series, and go campig both of us with all 3 is almost an apocallyptic labours, but possible. Usually we make a plataform with our packs for them, leaving a sheet on top for odor and hair issues. Now we have another variable, it is the new baby, and the problem is the security concern you mention. In USA they sell a dog harness to use with your seat belt, around 30 punds each. it's adjustable.

Do you still believe in Land Rover Press?

I bought a TDi glass and don't get with my TD5 door, it's a little smaller, so keeps rattling.....

Only for info, news from Nanocom:
Hi,
The Nanocom are now sold out and I will be out the first week of may with a new version the will have a lot of improvements, It will have a stong electronic design and a better look, a 3,5 inch display with touch capability will give to the new nanocom an easy user interface. No more PC required and so, no more problems of operative system compatibility, drivers and so on. The Nanocom will be seen by the PC as an exernal disk drive to load/download maps and reports of the diagnostic files. When the New nanocom will be available it will perform all the function of the old version with the adding of the V8 managements for DISCOII, and a basic management of the PUMA defender engine. The new platform will will allow the Nanocom to operate with all LR cars, and to quickly develope and upgrade the units to cover all the most important ECUs if all the LR cars.
The most important thing is that the new unit will have about the same small price. For the first week of may I will have the e-commerce on my website so you can buy it directly to me.
Regards
Mattia

Hi there. I have tried to find the white box or grounds but with no results. Now I'm having an annoying problem: sometimes I push the brake pedal and ECU, brakes and oil lights gets on (as engine was shut off) while I have the brake down. As soon as I release the brake everything comes back to normal. Today I press the pedal and all instruments went down (fuel, temp and speedo), however Nanocom still showed values in instrumental mode. Normal grounds appears to be ok, what else could it be? My car is a 2001 (MY99), is there any chance the white box didn't come?
Is there any way to improve anti stall?
