  1. You can find all the SAGś you need in Ecuador, they are still producing them. In the jungle, when you need traction in real mud, there is no Mickey Thompson, no Super Swampers, no BFG MT, there is only SAG crossply...... with pain in my heart, I have to take them from my TD5 due to my baby, they are really noisy.... but all my Series will have SAG, really the best Series tire.....

  3. Go Subaru, Volvo is not reliable under bad conditions. Here in Colombia they have failed all the time due to fuel quality and really crappy streets. As somebody above says, Subaru is reliable to the point itś boring, no matter if it is a Vivio with 12 years or a Forester bought yesterday. However, don't come back to us when you forget it's not a Landie and get stuck in a pothole.... :D

  4. Hi there. I have a faulty CKP sensor, so I decided to change the original for a new one bought in UK. However, after taking out the old one, I found there is no loom from wire harness to the sensor, there are only 2 terminals. Can I connect them in any way, or there is a positive and a negative lead? I have been trying to start the car a few times and it doesn't come to live, but I think it's the battery (it marks 12.30V alone and 11.9 with open switch, it's kind of wrong, isn't it?). A cousin is in his way with a fresh one to see if car is not starting for this reason.....

  5. Thanks a lot Roger, but since my country is really far from UK (almost unpayable posting charges) and caliper are truly expensive for my rate exchange, I have to use the kits. However, I only have to change pistons, not all the o rings or joints..... so I hope there will be not as many troubles as you have.....

  6. Firestone Destination MT, perfect for off road, really better than BFś and almost as good as any AT on the road. In the cheap side, you can go for Maxxis Big Horn, a little noisier but considerably cheaper than others, still a good tyre on the road and excellent performance in the dirt side.

Hankook Dynapro MT are a really good compromise between on and off road performance, not noisy at all, good grip in highways and secondary roads, and still a performer in the dirt. However, here in Colombia they are very expensive, so not a good choice, don know there....

  7. The earth problem use to be rust in the bolt or screw under passenger seat, the earth near the one from the ECU. Just unscrew it, some WD40 and tie it again, that must solve your problem. The Wabco unit is serviceable, they sell the shuttle valve around GBP 40, I think. The Wabco unit was quoted sometime ago in GBP 770 from Britcar, LrSeries or something, I cant remember
