  1. I'v got a similar series and I'm insured with Adrian flux, Footman and James would insure me for a few hundred more and most others I tried wouldn't insure me at all. When I put the 200tdi in mine it raised the insurance about £150, but over a year will save about £450
  2. ToyRoverlander How does your front spring set-up perform? Id be interested just for getting the ride height level and it couldn't flex less so must be worth a try!
  3. I run Rocky mountains on my lightweight, 3 leaves on rear, with longer shackles I find the back flexes an impressive amount and handles great on/off road but does eat the bushes in a few years. The front barely flex at all and sit a bit lower than the rear which is understandable with a winch and bumper, So I'm looking to try different para's on the front! NB: If you do have extended shackles then lower your bump stops appropriately as I didn't first time and killed a set
  4. Thats really Amazing she still drove so well, Solihull magic!
  5. Any pictures you can post would be most appreciated as I'm planning on going down a similar route, so just seeing how the gearbox fits etc would be great! Cheers
  6. Any progress? either ideas or chopping steel Could this idea possibly work if the R380 or LT77 gearbox stayed in the same position as standard series box? Maybe with the series transfer case on the back. Or would the rear prop be crazy short?
  7. If the axle rotates under load doesn't the axle twist up so making the prop UJ's run a shallower angle? although when bouncing around I see your point! Do your stage 1 axles run the same sort of angle as normal series ones? as disco axles twist up more so must help with props, I guess?
  8. Any update on this? Iv got a Disco 200tdi in my lightweight and contemplating a shorty r380(this should put the gearlever closer to original position I think?) then mod Disco axles to fit on the Parabolics, or just disco diffs and zeus discs(but ££££) So this is all very interesting to me
  9. Hi So have you chosen what to go for yet? Iv fitted a 200tdi to my lightweight and now thinking about an R380 and Disco axles or maybe just disco diffs and a disc brake convo, Hard to decide!
