    crank is fine pump is new

    everything is as it should be i filled it up with oil but as western said in the manual i have it says only use oil to prime it

    ive took the filter off and spun it over ,nothing happens ,the crank was fine and i turned the pump so it just slotted on and yes i fitted a new seal on the pick up pipe

    ive fitted a new oil pump ,pressure releif valve ,pressure sender and oil filter ,i ran it for 5 mins took off the filter and it was dry so filled it up and still no better :-(

    thanks western , if a shell had spun would it still have oil pressure ?

    could it be that the oil is too thick its got 15/w40 in it ?

    ive just fitted a new oil pump,oil pressure releif valve ,oil pressure sender and oil filter and light still isnt going out :-( any ideas ?

    all ive been told so far is that the spring could be out of the vacume pump :-S

    yea its quite a stiff spring im thinking maybey out of the fuel lift pump :-S

    i took the sump off today and found these two washers in the sump and the spring in with the oil pressure relief valve strainer is clean so must be the pump but where are these from????????????

    yea it has the right amount of oil and when I pull the wire off the sender it goes out but put it back and comes on again :s

    hi people ,right heres what happened I drove to work everything all same as useual, end of the day comes jump in the landy to go home and oil pressure light wont go out :s so left it there walked home and ordered oil pressure sender ,fitted it and light still on ? now im getting worryed ,is there any way of testing the oil pressure ???

    ahh right ,what holds the oil in then ? I done my brake shoes at the weekend and noticed that one was weeping oil from around the half shaft :s

    hi, i just wondered if the half shaft seals on a Salisbury axle are the same as a rover axle??? many thanks,ben

    heres how my side exit turned out i used a old ford s-max exhaust and a 14" long rolled back tip off flea bay cut it about to make the side exit and used an old butchers table for the finnisher plate what do you think??

    errm the only lace i foundthat sells them is devon 4x4 but they know how to charge !!!! i made mine my self in the end out of a bit of butchers table !

    hi, my mums 2.5dse p38 has a problem with the climate control it says its alot hotter out side than it is thus it cools the air rather than heating it ,could this be a simple snser has moved thing or is it somthing else ??? any help would be greatly appreciated

    hi, my tyres slightly hit my arches when I go over bumps, is it possible to heat them up and bend them or would I be better to just cut a bit off the bottom at a jonty school boy angle??

    hi,ive got hold of a td5 turbo that is like new ,just wondered if there would be any advantage on putting it on my 300 engine???

    unfortunatly not was only £60 turns over and turbo is good so cant go wrong !
