    ahh ok i was told on here to use a defender temp sender and it would be ok ? any ideas how to make the heaters warmer ????

    hi ive done a 300tdi conversion on my 86 110 ive changes the temp sender so that's all good etc but the temp never goes over 1/4 on the gauge and im running a kenlow fan which i hardly ever turn on , dad said it sounds like it has no thermostat could this be true ??? as its getting cold and my heaters are non existent lol ,any help would be great !!!

    hi people ive got a 86 110 which i have just done a 300tdi conversion in ,but the temp gauge is in the red and its not that hot :s ?? does it just need a new sender ? the gauge was working fine with the 19j engine .

    hi people ,i just wondered if side exit exhausts are road legal? and where to get one for a 86' 110 ??? or is isit a home brew job ???

    ive just finnished the 300 conversion it took me about 4-5 days in total its way better than the old 19j engine !!!!!!!!

    ive just finnished a 300tdi conversion on my 110 took me about 4 days to do i made a new mounter for the drivers side and just swapped over the back plates but im not sure if a petrol has the same back plate :S

    hi ,ive done everything apart from the altenator wires! i cantunderstand it :s is there any way of wireing up the original 19j altenator wireing to the 300tdi altenator ????? any help would be nice !

    ive done the conversion ! just im not sure how to wire up the altenater :s anyone know how to do it ??

    the one on the 300 was a person I'm not that keen on in the end i got a hacksaw blade and cut it out lol the one out of the 19j i made up a little slide hammer out of a coach bolt and a tractor linkage ball ! lol it done the job lovley !my conversion is almost compleate i just got to sort the air filter and the exhaust !

    yee done all that ! i changed the spigot bush and it mounted now !

    hi , i started my 300 conversion on monday ,but im unsure about the power steering pipes ?? do i have to use disco ones ?

    hi im keeping the lt77 box for now might change it in the future :s im not very clued up on motor electrics i think i can do most of it apart from the altanator :s my 300tdi engine doesnt have one so ive gotta buy one :s

    hi people im starting my 300tdi into 19j 110 next week just thorght i would ask what was the hardest bit? i have sorted out the mounting and exhaust ready to go in whats the next hardest thing ???????

    1) bottom end knocking and sluge blowing out or header tank! 2) oil cooler getting a hole and blowing all the oil into the water system! 3)take the enging out ,get the bottom end grinded ,new big end bearings,steam clean all the water system (high pressure makes it quicker) new radiator ,new oil cooler, and run it with anitfreeze !!!!!

    its got something on the throttle mechenism with 3 wires comming out of it ??? is that it ??? i was told it was a egr controller but not sure :s

    mine hasn't got any plastic on the injector pump all i know is it was in a range rover for a while before i borght it and was rebulit 1000 miles ago lol

    hi people i was going to put my hub etc on today and forgot i didnt order and cv grease :s so my dad said use some seli liquid grease ,would this be ok ?? its the same stuff that goes in farm machinery gearboxes (as im a farmer) lool
