  1. Hi. My friends rear light fuse keeps blowing. It also knocks out the speedo dash light? It's the fuse located in the bottom left of the fuse panel as you look at it. All the fuses appear to be messed up - many of them are the incorrect size etc. She hasn't had it long (about 6 months), but the fuse didn't used to blow. any ideas as to what I can check that might cause this? One of the replacement fuses she put in was 15 amp but even that blew Any ideas gratefully accepted pic just for interest..
  2. any ideas of a good place to buy tyres for defender? 235/85r16 I know I can get mail order - but then I have to get them fitted locally I suppose. Any advice? Recomendations?
  3. no defence, but it looks like something might have droped on it? Like a brick or large stone that perhaps someone was throwing?? Just saying it might not have been deliberate like a screwdriver attack, if you know what I mean. Bummer, either way.
  4. maybe check the batt leads are in good condition too - check the earth lead at both ends
  5. thanks western, any idea how much the whole pedal box assembly costs? Does it bolt straight in? (still reading..) http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?act=atta...ost&id=2847 ok just found part numbers posted by western elsewhere. for future reference: LR part number of mine is ANR3400 probably superseded by this version now SUB100320
  6. Hi Has anyone fitted an extra slave cylinder, or a different one, in order to make the clutch feel lighter? I remember reading a thread years ago on LRE forums but that's long gone. Anyone got a link? Advice? I know many peeps find the pedal heavy, so any definitive advice would be good for all of us! (200tdi 90)
  7. Thanks Anyone know where I can get the 'spreading' plates for when I mount them? (To spread the load) Chris
  8. Thanks all. So the consensus is: since they were not fitted from factory, they don't need to be fitted. cheers
  9. '93 County 90. Has rear bench seats fitted, but no seatbelts. What is the law re: carrying passengers? I know if seatbelts are fitted passengers must wear them, but what if no seatbelts are fitted? Also, if I buy and fit some (which I will) is it just lap-belts I require? I want to know the law as me fitting belts will be less urgent if passengers aren't required to wear them if the vehicle didn't have them fitted originally.
  10. This sucks & I can't believe more people on here aren't concerned about it
  11. whats the deal? What is a safari door? '93 90 CSW with rusted rear door that needs replacing. What are the differences / what will fit?
  12. When I clicked the link within that thread you linked to, I got this: and then it takes you to http://87.114.128.152/ after asking for my login details for my router! seems dodgy to me - I never have anything on my pc that is dodgy. I run a firewall & antivirus software.
  13. treebloke - so are you saying you basically lost £15500???
  14. In their "You might try one of the following options;" they forgot the following: "You may wish to use a competitors website" Chris
