Jason G where did you get those connectors from??

How have people done this and still been able to get to the battery box?? I mainly want be able to jump start my truck as it does stand for peiods of time and not have to faff around with taking the seat out!! Any tips or suggestions please Sammy

As the title really, got home this afternoon to find my fuel tank leaking all over my drive today I presume its most common for them to rot to pieces? Where is the best to get one from? (good quality one, no britpart plopplops) Sammyb

Yes matey its a 300tdi defender, I have tried another gauge again today an that was exactly the same, was speaking to someone else today an they said that the temp sensors from disco's an defenders are calibrated differently? Is it worth trying a genuine LR sensor? Yeah the terminals are the right way round (i think) isn't one a male and one a female spade connector? Also if the gauges run at 12v why am i only getting 10 at the sensor? Any help is well appreciated as my head is power baffled by this now :/ sammy

Right I'm still having problems with the temp gauge, it still sits at half way when cold (when you switch the ignition on) an when its warm the gauge sits just below the red line, I've tried a new coolant temp sensor which made no difference at all then I have tried a new temp gauge and put a new wire from the the sensor to the back of the gauge. After speaking to someone today that the gauges run at 9v I popped a multi meter across the wire to sensor an came with a 10.8v reading, would be enough of an increase in voltage to make the temp readings in correct? All off these have made no differences what so ever an is starting to tiddle me off with spending money and making no differences at all Anyone had a similar problem or any ideas on how I can fix this?? That one was just the first one that i saw on ebay, it was only for reference on the bars by the windscreen, so take it the safari one wont fit too well with the front bar??

Right after a lot of thought with how defender roof's aren't renown for there strength, so I've decided to invest in an external cage (when funds allow). Now I'm after a bit of info on what snorkel people have used? Right since owning my 90 its had no lower door seals and ive got bored of draughts/water coming in now lol I've bought a pair but now this is where im confused, do they fit on the lower part of the door? or do they fit on the body?? as there is 2 little hole on the body where it could fit which has thrown me a bit Any pics would help too Sammy

Are the mirror arms hollow or have you drilled them a hole through the arm and routed it that way? just not keen on exposed wires

I know you can on higher bhp petrol ones
