  1. These have semicircular profile similar to bearmach/britpart ones, I assumed they were genuine as the came from Zeushowever seems I am wrong. I guess the tolerances are incorrect as they just drop out when fitted, normally from searching other posts they are too tight! For the moment I have used another pair of almost new calipers destined for my 110 and fitted new seals and stainless pistons to them for the moment.
  2. Hello! I am rebuilding my 300tdi defender 90's front calipers. I have a stainless steel piston kit I bought from Zeus Engineering many years ago and never got round to fitting until now. I've removed the old pistons, seals and retaining rings from the calipers, however when I came to fit the new retaining rings to my calipers, they feel too loose, only require very slight hand pressure to fit them, wheras when i did the rears many years ago they were a nightmare as they were too tight. I havent used any abrasives on the retainers seats. My calipers are proper AP ones, the seals and retainer kit are unbranded but were supplied by Zeus with the pistons themselves, which are identical in dimensions to the original ones I've just removed. Has anyone else come across this problem or any ideas? Thanks
