Yes. It is exactly the same. I will probably use some drive screws because rivet nuts will be under angle and therefore normal screws will not fit... And one other job needs to be done. remake cover of filter box to suit big hose from snorkel...

Now, i just need to find out how to fix it...

and valves are OK?

Hi, yes you are right Drilling hole to decker panel is without problem. Complication starts when i want to drill holes to pillar. Snorkel is formed exactly as pillar, so there should no problem, but there is also windows seal what lift whole snorkel about 1/2inch from pillar. Maybe i am just trying to be very accurate, but drilled hole will be in pillar under angle. Cut off window seal will cure the problem, but i think it is not ideal solution I was thinking about making some distant piece, but before that i was thinking to ask here so maybe i am totally wrong. Or i will put there some very good glue thanks

Hello, few months ago i bought snorkel for my range rover( fiberglass snorkel, same type as Devon4x4 is selling) and now i decided to mount on my car. But i am confused with fitting. It should be shaped to fit RRC pillar, but it isn't quite same. there is window rubber( seal) and making whole snorkel moved from ideal position about 1/2 inch. So wholes for screws will not be in good position. I can make some "mounting plate" but i think there could be something much more simple. Do you have idea how to correctly fit it? thanks

I am not sure about these, but i bought a set from Paddock, on those were carp. And look same as on ebay( polyurethane stuff). They have no steel mounting plate and are not fabricated exactly for LR bump stop brackets. there is hole between bump stop and frame about 1 cm tall. I will rather fabricate some support for your old ones.

i suppose i should be 1.2 as Range Rovers in that era had 1.2 LT230. main gearbox was same in all models...so it should have also same ratio transfer box

and when you are going to mount it back. put there some grease. it will be little easier next time.

Try some sort of epoxide. I've successfully put back together surroundings of gear lever with it.

Hi, you will have to cut form your rear doors approx. this... No big deal. Just cut smaller pieces and measure more often.

Not only at Jules...explanation: most of things on my RRC are custom made and i was thinking about putting something "official"( also because of time what can i save with it)... Only body lift kit that i found was from Bearmach. So i wrote them, but they didn't answer. Are they selling or speaking only to big companies or so...? anyway, i want to see how well and clever is that body lift made. If it is worth the many to put in. Still i don't know for how much are they selling it though. And also i am not still decided if i will go to 1" or to 2". With 2" bodylift will be little bit more easier putting Husky winch in the rear in the future, but it will take big modifications to my front winch bumper and winch mount. With 1" body lift maybe will not be necessary to extend LT230 lever, steering shaft. When i count all things which need to be customized when body lift is made, maybe i will be at same level as bodylift kit from Bearmach. If yes, then i will buy complete ready set...if the kit will be too expensive i will go your way stumpy2268

Hallo, i am thinking of putting body lift on my RRC. But i am not finally convinced if 1 or 2". I was trying to contact Bearmach about their 2" lift kit( without success yet). Please do you have any detailed pictures of this bodylift kit?

I also have these flares fitted on mine. Screws were missing in the package and paddock was unable to deliver it to me( )so i bought new hex head screws and put on them black elox. I was suprised how much i need to cut from rear doors. But it worth the job. I was trying to put on 35" Simex( just for test), and there was no rubbing on wheel arches but on the inner wing. 33" are my "normal" tyres
