  2. OK done a bit of research myself - so the later one is an electronic speedo type - any tips bearing in mind this vehicle is shortly to be fitted with a 1997 R380 box with LT230 Transfer Box. cheers Bade
  3. This might be a dull one so excuse me in advance. Can you interchange the Instrument Pod 1987/88 Quadrant scale type fo the later Rounder stye type found on the pre-softdash variant? If you can what are the issues - speedo drive etc. Many thanks Bade

  6. I've sorted the front ones - piece of err (easy) - I'm doing the rears in the next couple of weeks so I'll take loads of photos and post em up and tell you the bad bits. (measure once - measure twice - thrice is the answer) and buy yourself a nibbler it's worth every penny cheers Bade

  9. Hi guys before my current box of cogs (LT77) completely lets go I need to do something - I've got the chance of a R380 from a97 300 Disco does anyone have any experience with this one. Is there any difference with the input shaft. Is there a prop length difference/flange difference. speedo drive problems etc. cheers all - thanx in advance Baden
  10. Hi All Has anyone got any experience in carrying out this job? I've got a new top rail from Land Rover genuine parts ready to fit. Doesn't seem too much of a chore once the roof is off (er yeh ok ok ). Can it be done without removing the windsceen? Any offers? cheers Baden
