todays work is slow ive braced the backend and chocked it up aswell but its alot of work hope its all worth it ....

hi well it was a nightmare to cut the new front of the headlight box to fit the trimmed down 200 front of the panel but i got there . ive managed to coat it all in a type of shutz underneath that comes out v proffesional so im quite chuffed . so im onto the back end omg what the have i done lol well ive took off the rear quarter panels and the inner quarters arned rotten but seen better days . but ive had some luck a mate that has a broken low mileage 200 has mint quarters so im going to remove them spotwelds and put them on mine and the whole boot floor and crossmember i know the landy is not worth it but oh well

hi id say its your tensioner bearing off the aux belt quite common you can either buy a tensioner or bit fiddly change the bearing ive done bearing only couple of quid hope this helps ,

yes i know what you mean i diddn't find the spot welds that impressive so ive tack welded it every other inch or so to help im absolutely knakared its more or less there just bits now on to boot floor next week and rear crossmember then ive got other side floor and bay then its ok by me some more piccies

hi maverick yes it is v expensive its from yrm metals ive opted for the weld together yourself option lightbox £75.00 and bays 80 pound ive got lots to do but ive set myself a tast to turn this old shed into a as good minter getting there ..and i like a 200tdi

well its been another day of drilling cutting ect removing front n/s bay more welding lol ordered more off yrm metals so hoping tommoz pressie time heres a couple of pix

hi nige ,jeff yes it doesn,t help that week before last i pulled my back out doing a block pave drive moved 4 ton of garder and lots of blocks ect with the landy it worked hard fairplay so ive bought some new bays and other bits going to do it up as good as i can i do like the 200 s they got a qwerkyness about them ive also picked up a lowish milage r380 box and transfer box for 100 quid out of an 98 disco as my mate brakes landys as mine jumps out of 1st gear .

thanks ill give it a try as at the moment on the back of the pump ive adjusted it so it just about lowers tick over

hi nige yes ive temp fitted the door and it shuts ok its when i get to welding it all back ill take both doors off and mesure it up right .im in a bit of a pickle as to know what to do with bays cut them out altogether and buy full ones or repair them ill never sell the truck as it owes me too much now but need to have a think and of course talk to the boss my misuss

well at the moment ive backed everything off in stages the star wheel under diaphram and the diaphram back to what i thought standard . well it used to smoke alot as you were pulling off normally then when you put your foot down lots of dark black smoke but not lots of power

hi can anyone help with a slight problem i have ,the disco 200 tdi i have seemed to go ok but smoked a bit too much ,its been played with ,and so i bought a full size intercooler pipes ect and now i find to stop it smoking ive backed everything off so it goes ok ish but slow on hills, i want to find out any factory settings on pump and actuator on turbo so i can set it up right please thx.

I wounder if anyone can help me . I bought this 1993 200 tdi disco but someones messed with fuel pump ive since fitted full size intercooler but want to put fuel pump and turbo waistgate back to factory settings as i can do it properly can anyone help plz thx

Thanks nigel ive bought the three floor supports boot floor and crossmember panel and bought the two outer boot panels so as well as crossmember it ll be like new the backend anyway lol and got full inner outer sills so got lots to do this month and im well skint now afraid to add it all up ,

haha i like that nige something my gf wanted to put on it , my missus hates mine as i sold a mind s60 d5 volvo to go back to a crappy old disco lol she put it . i cant sel mine its into me over 2 k now

help guys ive a new rear crossmember and im going to put new boot floor in as its been done but not v well so what is the panel in front of rear crossmember i e one with clips on for panel to screw into by door rubber that joins boot floor can you still get it ? thanks

hi i had an auto disco on a 1996 went through water it cut out there is a cluster of wires under the pump i used lots of wd 40 and it started and coughed splittered and after drying it out it was ok hope this helps that is if its not cambelt

Hi guys been v busy but does not seem that ive got much done ,could be getting older ,lol or poss all the vehicles ive built . Ive done wheel bearings all round ,timken ones,brakes ,discs pads ,serviced new blue polybushes ,new suspension, bull bar,and ive jet washed it all to see what ive got ,the chassis is vv good so ,i bought fertan ,horrible stuff ,and its turned out its rubbish,so i steam cleaned it all off ive bought alot of red oxide and got silver hammerite for axles but what can i use on chassis as the back end has a bit of surface rust and i dont want stuff reacting ,but want it to sort of last . any ideas pics to follow

hi ive a 200 disco, ive just changed the suspension and i bought standard uprated shocks /springs britpart springs and monroe gas shocks but it did not sit level ride was ok ish but was too high at the front,so ive now got britpart 2"lift and procomp shocks with genuine polybush blue ones with new steering joints (greaseable) ones new timkin bearings all round and it drives lovely

hi ive got a 200 tdi that jumps out of first gear now and again so ive bought a 1998 box with 97 k on it complete for 100 quid with transfer im going to change it completely new re inforced clutch fork and new borg and beck clutch not britpart .... hope this helps

hi id say your splines have worn through it was a problem on earlier r380 gearboxes and lt77s esp if your in difflock and no drive ,my dad had a 1995 disco same happened and he put in difflock and it drove it was c/v joint on front axle i fear a new box is needed hope this helps

ive just noticed today as its now on level ground the back of disco is lower than the front for sone reason and ive fitted standard uprated springs and gas shocks. contacted paddock and its all they do so im sending them back as its 0ver 1 and a half inches more on the front ive bought a 2 ""lift kit so well see anyone else had this ?
