  1. I have a guy up in Derbyshire (DLS). Interestingly, I get my products always the next day I pick the phone. The shipment costs an arm, bones from the ribs and flesh from the Latisimus Dorsi .... But I still get the products. Devon44 sent me a winch in a matter of 2 days ...!! Adwest did the same thing. To Norway!! Impressive..
  2. Errm welcome Beekay. This is the place to be! And the best thing of all is that you have the 3 musketeers greeting you. Western Mo and Les.....
  3. I had this thought once of "Privacy Glass" and friends thought I had other agendas in mind. I never managed to fulfill this dream due to the discussions my friends held on that. "Me? With ideas?" I thought. I shrugged my shoulders over and over again to prove my innocence but it never worked. The idea was just to conceal all tools, bags and shopping bags from the crooked eyes of thieves but nope, they were not convinced! And now I hear it costs 600 Quid plus vat? Holy Creeps!! well well I have changed my mind upon this new info!!
  4. Maybe specifying which type of seat could help your readers. By specifying, I mean Front seats, LHD RHd Center seats or Back seats. Or am I asking for too much?
  5. You would definitely need the patience of a turtle and even more... I sent a mail in January this year to Llama. I am still waiting for a reply
  6. I thought I read somehere here, that WALFY IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! Les you have a point there and I do agree perfectly well. Hitherto, I wonder how anyone will feel if they were living in China or Greece and had to express thoughts in Chineese or Latin (Which they had deligently suffered to study) on a forum like this! .. Anyway lets get it on. We (me and me and me and myself- quite many ainit? ) are all aware the Queen's Language rules..
  7. I will not mention names but it is a pity that people are so hanged up on punctuations, spellings and "nick pickying" on elements which are actually irrelevant to this forum. A fellow crying out his woes about a lousy service needs some cheering up. We are here to be supportive ( I am not thinking about babysitting if these fellows want to misunderstand my point) and learn from each other. I guess despite your having the pain in the neck and sore eyes, you did get what letsgetdirty meant .. Be a little considerate at times fellows!!!!!!
  8. Errrrm. M J I think I did manage a couple of punctuations there didn't I? Did you miss a heartbeat or lost your breath reading the first mail?
  9. *If there is one thing I hate in the world then it is (repeated on purpose),,,, then it is LOUSY service. I must admit letsgetdirty that with such a treatment, I simply withdraw never to be seen again.... Not even my hairtip... Irritating. Why can't they talk to each other and make sure that whoever calls is assigned to one and only one person.. "Hey fellows Letsgetdirty called concerning an item.. send him over to me when he calls back again" I think from your decription this thing has really gotten into your bones.. And poor dad.. taking all his time and doing you a favor.... I will be careful not to mention names here though but I have been disappointed a couple of times when it comes to these STEALERS... I understand why in certain countries there are people who can fix such IDONOTCAREATTITUDES....I hope you get all in order LGD.. I do bear with you.....
  10. Good one there... Good to know where people come from..... For all U know one is underground locked up in a basement somewhere unknown for 24 years....
  11. I do agree with all the above .. go for a 4 bolt PAS.. A friend inherited my old box and changed from a 6 bolt (cheap quality actually) to a 4 bolt. I had a leaking episode where I marked every territory I went with PAS fluid,, I solved the problem though but had already bought a new one from adwest.. Came here within days... take a look at it.. Like a machine gun,,,,, http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll194/d...gsandPAS001.jpg
  12. Hi Western Pardon me for asking but is that your bedroom? Looks like you have it all.....And this car really Sucks the diesel ainit so?
  13. I saw that "hopping" and had to use the jigsaw puzzle to place own alphabet there... One can use Dhopping Lhopping Fhopping Chopping
  14. getting the creeps down my spine...... Better not... I will check it out then....Thanks ..
  15. I had a similar problem getting the bolts and nuts in place.. You must adjust, hit sideways up over and at various angles the whole time ..minimize the whacking else it might lose thread and that will be another headache..... Also try lifting the front axel? Took a day to finally get it into place.. Guard looks like this http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll194/d...ntallook003.jpg Good luck
  16. I am very much aware about the chemical reaction between ALuminium and Iron. Basically one of the first lessons at chemistry class during my A-level days.... The result of turning into powder.... Anyway thanks for reminding me
  17. I do agree on that mike4444244... I bought some bolts and nuts from a landy shop once and to my utter surprise they were "Genuine products" but how ungenuine they were.... I consulted a BOAT PARTS shop selling Stainless bolts and nuts... IT costs BOnes and flesh but a-man-gotta-do-what-a-man-gotta-do!! From 8mm +++ I am satisfied with it..
  18. When i bought my car td5 110 99 mod.. the rear lock was in shambles.. The only way to lock it was from the inside and lifting the locking pin. It went on for a considerable while until I got fed up with it. Simply buy a new one and replace it.. Barrel and lock costs not more than 20 Quid,,, I guess,,It is an easy job.. Couple of beer in this lovely weather with a loud radio, it'd be done in a jiffy!!!
  19. The days of rest are over.. The problem currently is on my td5110 99 model. Whenever I come up to 4th gear, there is cranking noise. Even though not bothersome nor high pitched, it turns to worry me a little. A stitch in time saves nine... like the good saying goes... I am actually suspecting the back axel needs some refill of oil or maybe oil the crank shaft... But i did the oil change only last November... Anyway despite my guesses I felt it wise to notify the big DONS of the forum for noble advices... Description of the noise... Grrrr GRrr blang blang kakakakaka... There is more of a kakakakaka than blang blang....
  20. I remember my first time in the UK... Walthamstow by then.. Sitting in my friends car I nearly jumbed out of my skin when I saw this trailer nearing us.... First experience on the other side of the road.. Went to Tobago and managed to drive on the other side.... Scary ainit?
  21. I had a similar problem and it took months to solve it. I think u must manage to get the door opened by rolling down the window and use a wire latch to disentangle the mechanism from within. I think the best afterwards would be to either change locks or re-straighten the metal latches in the door mechanism..There are some little metal clippings which holds the metals in place. within this clippings are some rubbers which go defect after a while.. It is a real pain in the past.... I experienced this for 2 months.. (:::: It looks too like they used very cheap stuff in the Lr locking mechanism...
  22. These sound real cool.. I am getting ideas...... I would simply put a syringe with acid in the seat. Bums on the seat means syringe will secrete all it's contents on the brute.. I love acids.... I have it right beside my bedside and the window a stone throw from the car... and any noise I hear outside, I am up like a bull dog.. Hidden behind the curtains... lurking and ready to secret the contents of the lethal weapon on the culprit......
  23. I tried that Gunk once on a Mercedes clk 200.. I got is all over the tyre.. my shoes and took many days getting the stuff off the side of the car... After driving over to the repair shop we needed to buy a new Alu Rim... Best to have the Spare on no matter how much it adds to suck the diesel..... ..... Over here in Norway you will freeze off in case of a puncture...
  24. I sent it off to a company and they sandwashed it, primed it with zinc and painted it.. It followed the car when I bought it.. Spent too much money so I guess I will manage getting the bolt hole in it.. But Devron told me it will fit the dimensions I mentioned. It is a standard 10"X4.5" for the bolt hole... Fingers crossed actually..!! There is always a way!!
  25. Thanks for the advice.. will find that out in due time....Cheers
