  1. If you fit a manually switched reversing light I think you have to have a tell-tale light as well. Tazz
  2. Have you tried Googling Vehicle Storage. An old friend of mine used to store his classic Jaguar at a place in Cheltenham (probably not far enough west for you). I only visited it once, but they had old cars; new, hardly used cars and off the road (no licence) cars. I can't tell you any more though as he died some years ago. tazz
  3. Well it's still on the road somewhere, and taxed until November 2011. Tazz
  4. I'd plump for the Disco. The Jeep may be quieter, and possibly more comfortable, but you're talking about buying an 8-10 year old vehicle. The ongoing maintenance and parts costs are significantly different. Also your chance of getting hold of second hand parts for the Jeep are far less. Finally the Jeep Cherokee is not very big, whilst it will tow the same as the Disco you'll be surprised how little space (storage and boot) there is compared to the Disco. I hope I'm not being biased in my reply, as I don't own a Disco but have owned 2 Cherokees, but sold them at 8 years sold because of the growing size of the repair bills. Tazz
  5. I'd be more worried about water ingress into the cabin Tazz
