  1. That proves I wasn't there then. There are a few dodgy looking people on there though
  2. Well tried what you both said (not on a hill ) and the clutch doesn't appear to be slipping, any other ideas? If the plate is contaminated I would have thought the juddering would have been constant ? but it seems to come and go, it was very bad again this morning but now seems ok again.
  3. Personally I would rather send a cheque to the treasurer (Tony?) so that it all goes where intended, rather than see Paypal take a cut out of it.
  4. Cheers Tony, I'll go out and try that later, guess It's looking like a trip back to the stealers either way.
  5. In the twenty (or so B) ) years I've been driving I have never had a clutch fail - been lucky I guess - so I haven't got a clue what the symptoms feel like. However the 90 has started to be reluctant to pull away and shudders (at times badly) when letting the clutch out , so would I be right in saying the clutch is slipping ? Not really what I would expect after only 18k miles , ( alright I know, it's a Land Rover)
  6. It's a bit early for me to say yet, since I started back at work after my headache, my shifts have been VERY unpredictable, but at moment of those two days the Thursday (1st) seems the best bet.
  7. Yeah, but but only just

  9. I'd probably be up for it as well, I assume you mean weekdays ?
  10. I think you have to post it elsewhere - I have anyway Try Image Cave (.Com - I dont know how to make it 'clicky') they seem good - and free
  11. As Tony said I wasn't there B) although I have got a sticker and T-shirt . Seeing Bushman 's name there, has anyone heard from Jerry (Mark ?) -I know when he went down under the blood all ran to his head and he bought a Mitsutoysomething or other
  12. Well someone likes it 18 bids and £510 so far .
  13. They're a lot better off road when they've got half a ton or so of weight in the back. and you're right they are scary going downhill it's quite easy to stand one it's nose
  14. Thanks for the quick replies, I'm running Norton Antivirus/Firewall ( and I was before it died on me the first time) hopefully it was up in time. I cant get into messneger at the moment - it won't let me in
  15. I'll quite happily chip in as well, not sure about Paypal either though.
  16. Can I post OT questions on here ? Firstly hello all, just found out where you were all hiding I've spent all last night and most of today reformatting my computer after a major crash , Norton was indicating that I had been attacked (probably LRE ) anyway it seems to be running ok now but I keep getting bluddy annoying popups from 'messenger service' , I sure someone has said how to stop these before, so please could you let me into the secret before smash the screen Cheers Mark Edited to add, although it's too late for me now, is there any way to save your favourites list? cause it's bluddy annoying having to try to find all those as well.
