its a f plate 2.5.td and how can you tell what gearbox it is?

thanks to the people who have helped out with all my questions so far all advise taken in and stored or used already.but this one i think i know the what where the issue is. when i put my 90 in low and move either forward or back there is a horrible bearing colapsed teeth grinding kinda noise.guess its probably shot to bits and something quite important has broken has any of you any experience re building? or any advise on if its worth re building? or good places to buy good s/hand or recon units? any help or advise muchly appreciated

hello all the kit list says they are check straps just didnt konw whee to attach them to and i have driven my 90 up a concrete ramp on the passanger side and it made it to the top and didnt dislocate atall as far as i know the springs and shocks and both extended

hi all started to fit a 2in lift kit to my 90 today and in the box are some what look like some recovery straps can anyone tell me what they are for and where they go? the kit came with dilocation cones as well and was wondering how bad the terrain would have to be for the springs to dislocate from the body?

thanks for the advise guess these wil fit on the standard wheels? was thinking about the lift kit for the future probably gonna start getting into more serious off roading and think the raised air intake sounds like a good idea as iv had water in the footwells already there are a thousand things i want to fit to my 90 just not sure where to start joined to hopefully get to speak to some people with some experince to guide me in the rite direction and not waste money on stuff that imight never use guess other than that its kinda a learing curve

hello all im kinda new to this owning a landrover stuff and been out green laneing and cant get enough of it now,only problem is went out at the weekend and got stuck quite alot. at this time my 90 2.5td is bog standard apart from a side exit exhaust its soom to have a 2inch lift kit fitted can anyone point me in the rite direction for a decent size of tyre and wheels to fit ie that clear everything but help with the diff on the ground problem i seem to have suffered just recently thanks

im kinda new to this landrover stuff recently brought a 90 25td as a toy and i have also just made and fitted my own side exit system removing all the boxes and it sounds fine not to loud atall, you can hear the turbo whistle but other than that it sounds cool.
