ablespence
Hi, I know this topic has been covered for the older models but has anyone tried a spring lightening clutch on a 2002 (or similar) TD5. My wife's arthritis is playing up and the clutch is now too heavy for her.(...I don't want to drive back from the pub every time!!) Suggestions most welcome, thanks
Lightning
Yes l fitted one to our 2003 TD5 90 and also our 2005 TD5 110. It makes the clutch noticeably lighter, and easier to drive in traffic.
neil110
Ditto, fitted one to a V8 clutch pedal and I can now push it down with my thumb
steve200TDi
Well worth fitting! Use cable ties like I did!
ablespence
thanks - hopefully easy to fit as I'm going to give it a go next weekend. Any fitting tips will be gratefully received before then as I normally get great advice just after I've done something the hard way!!
