Mike Hi mike how do you find it? Obviously yours has the pto driven side of things but the winch unit itself how is it? Also how do you how it compares with a h14 as I had one of them for a short while and it affected the approach something chronic, does this suffer the same? miketomcat
I love it. It will pull all day it if a little slow for some people. I've converted mine to plasma rope as for approach angle I've never had a major issue. Mike Edited September 10, 2017 by miketomcat
FridgeFreezer
I think if you fabricated a different bumper you could set it back into the grille by a few inches, the std bumper is very big. On a Series you can get it flush.
mikec
Cheers guys, hadn't actually bought the winch when I posted, picked it up yesterday just hope it's worth the £180 I paid for it. The winch does seem a bit more compact than the h14w not to bothered as it's only going on a work vehicle anyway cheers guys
CwazyWabbit
I've got a hydraulic 525 fitted, they are the same as the PTO version other than there is a separate hydraulic motor connected via a short PTO to the winch. I'm pretty certain they sit back further than the H14 does.
miketomcat
You definitely have to cut the grill panel and the winch sits against the front crossmember. Mike
