junior
I see many places do it,all offering roughly the same thing. Has anyone on here had there's 'chipped' or anything similar.Im thinking about having mine done as i have a bit of cash to spare before xmas. Whats the best thing to have done? Pro's and con's? Will it actualy make much difference? Any comments welcome
MudAllOverIt
Chipping the TD4 is a common mod and lots of people do it. FWIW I can personally recommend http://www.just4freelanders.com/ Unlike some Harvey owns and runs Freelanders and uses the stuff he sells in his own motors... jules
Try JE engineering but its a little more pricey but they built and did all the mapping for my 200bhp Dakar freelander's racing engine. jules
Blippie
Ben Stowe at JE Engineering is a useful chap to know. He was part of my gang when we rebuilt my 90 from the ground up in a day-and-a-half. For a less pricey solution, there's always a tuning box as an alternative to remapping. The chaps on www.landyzone.co.uk rave about Roveron's tuning boxes - www.tuning-diesels.com Cheers Blippie
