Defender 200 tdi turbo fitting

Hi 

Fittingc a 200 tdi defender turbo to my 1988 90 , its got a discovery 200 tdi engine convertion, and want to fit the correct defender turbo.

I have the turbo and exhaust and inlet manifold , but it looks like I need to move the altenator and power steering pump some ??. 

Has any one got image of the correct brackets etc I need to look for.

You need the full defender spec timing case & associated alternator & pas pump bracket, as well as the defender manifolds. 

 

Look in the 200tdi section of 90 or 110 parts book.

Ah that makes sense, ill have a look in that section.

You'll also need defender thermostat housing and FIP brackets and fuel injector pipes as the pump is further round.

Some parts are very expensive.  The only reasonable path is with a second hand engine....

got most of the parts off ebay and face book, so will do this shortly ....seems 200tdi parts are getting thin on the ground looking at some of the prices

Defender spec 200tdi parts are thin on the ground, not many of these engines were made, they were replaced with the more common 300Tdi which fits in a different position in the engine bay, so could be common throughtout the Defender/Discovery/RRC.
