Simon_CSK
I have bought a D2 V8 Auto, the immobiliser has been activated and the remote isn't working. Is the remote configured to the BCU and the ECU? I am asking this as I have an BCU in a TD5 and wonder if I could use that just to cee if the car will start and run.
bear
If it's immobilized you'll need to use the eka to unlock it.

Escape
The immobilizer is in the BCU, I've had to replace one once. I think I needed to pair it to the engine ECU to get it running, but not sure anymore. As for the EKA, maybe http://www.radiocodes.co.uk/ is an option. I've used them for a P38 and they delivered.
