vulcan bomber Posted June 13, 2021 Share Posted June 13, 2021 Electro Discharge Machining (certainly with wire) just uses distilled water. The wire where I use to work had 2 huge cartridges in it with crystals of some description to distill the water before sending it back to the cutting head. Probably demineralised water then if there's crystals of some sort involved. Guess using water is a whole lot less messy than the oil!
