Disco 1 rear dust shields / how to fit

Hi folks

I have a 90 but have fitted Disco 1 axles front and rear.  I want to fit dust shields to the rear as there are a lot of unfinished roads and forest paths here in Finland.  Does anyone have a photo of theirs maybe they can share, although I know many of removed them.  But I wont be doing heavy mud stuff

Do they just bolt to the axle directly or do I need these brackets FTC3299.  Do I have to strip the hub, disks etc to fit like on the front or do these fit on the rear side near, i.e the diff side.

p.s and are there any specific bolts to fit them, is the axle tapped...tks!

Any help appreciated.

Alan

Thanks guys / my issue is that I couldntsee WHERE they fit on the rear.  I was actually replacing all the bearings and disks yesterday and was planning to fit the shields then, but I didn’t realize until too late that I needed brackets!!

@Mossberg...super.. so if im looking right, the brackets are also using the caliper mounting points, is that right? And presumably just the caliper bolts also then.... and if so can I just slip these on the back by removing the caliper bolts without removing the hub and disks again?

I am just starting on this job myself so please be aware that others will be far better to give you good advice than me.

However I think you are correct. I think the bracket will be where you would have a washer with the caliper against the axle casing.
