Rustyob1
Hi all I have a friend who's having trouble with a old S reg TD5. Drives fine in reverse but nothing in forward. Where do I start looking. Thank in advance Tim
Stellaghost
Does it want to move in any of the forward gears regards Stephen
simonr
Check the oil level. The reverse clutch is the biggest & the last one to be starved of oil if it's low.

Sorry for the late response No there is nothing at all. Reverse seems to behave normally. As you put it in drive the rpm drops. But doesn't do anything at all in forward drive or any of the gears.
