Trendkill110
Hello folks, been a while! Has anyone done turbos on a 2019 D5 yet? Got a friend who wants his doing. Figured it'll be a case of dropping front subframe down but thought I'd ask about first. Thanks in advance! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
L19MUD
I would advise downloading all the pages you need from Topix Not heard of a D5 needing turbos yet. How many miles has it done? No warranty left?
Nonimouse
Before LR bought our fleet back from my employers, we used to go through Turbo's like poo through a goose. One of our D5's had 9 in 18 months! Another 7.... But the Stealership never bothered to find out why they failed, just replaced under warrantee. Worth noting, that our D5's rarely went over 55, but would do that for 24hours, virtually non stop, 7 days a week

Although in this case it was only doing 2 miles a day.

JLR bought them back off us, just under two years from purchase - not fit for task, but it was easier to simply buy them
