Anderzander
On the Td5 you can disable the interior alarm sensor by locking it with a key / but my dog spends so much time in there I’d rather use the fob. It has one of those ultrasonic sensors : With 3 wires - two to the ECU and one to earth. If I want to pop a switch in there to be able to disable/enable it, anyone have any idea where I should put it?
smallfry
Couldn't even begin to answer that, but wouldn't the alarm or BCM know its AWOL and throw up a fault ?
Anderzander
Apparently not - as if you unplug them everything’s fine. It’s just for a convenience - but for me it will be one of those small things that makes a disproportionate improvement.
Peaklander
In that case you could open circuit the two cables WB and BN , using a standard double pole switch, leaving the B cable connected.
