Bowie69
No need for compushift if you put the disco ECU into it, is there?
Hazza
I've done a similar conversion, but 200tdi 110 to D2 td5. I had a manual donor, so used the r380 from that with synchro gearboxes stick adaptor. I kept the Xfer box in original position and then based everything from that so no need to change props, tunnel etc. Td5 ends up sat a couple of inches further back than standard but everything about fits from standard. I've got a thread in the member's vehicle area with a bit more detail. Feel free to ask here/there if you need more info.
miketomcat
@Hazza Phil's truck is a 200tdi that's had a 300tdi mounted to the lt77. Out of interest do the r380 sticks come up through the lt77 tunnel with your configuration or is that what the conversion kit does. Hazza
Sticks come through the original location, adaptor allows you to fit the lt77 selector housing to the top of the r380. If you do this, make sure you remove the steel interlock which is bolted to the inside of the lt77 selector housing. Adaptor is here
