Hi Neil,

Hope you're a good welder!

I'm now into month 4 of a "quick tidy up for the MoT" on my 89 classic!

You'll enjoy this forum, I've had loads of great advice from the guys on here.

(note to the pedantic PC brigade, "guys" in this context simply means "People" and in no way refers to gender/sex/orientation/species etc. etc. I got pulled for this on another non-LR forum, hence the disclaimer.)

DEANO3528/ my other garden has old ford's in it ;)

Rustyrangie/ i can weld just :rolleyes: but so far looks ok under there B) worst is the tail gate (top&bottom)

and front spoiler were the bull bar has been fitted but thats coming off ;)

Yeah, that's what I thought about the last rangie, until I pulled the carpet up...

Ive had the carpet up in most places and there only abt 3inch's where i can poke through

and yes i know what ive let my self in for why i still do these silly things is beyond me :rolleyes:

i must be mad, i know im skint now lol

Month 7 for me - but I have just reached a milestone... All of the off-side welding is now done, just got the rear (X member) and near-side (which isn't quite so bad) to go, then I'll be down that MoT station faster than :D
