bobonacus
Hi, I have all the engine to gearbox bolts out except the one by the clutch slave cylinder / start motor Any tips on how to get it out?? I can just get a finger to it but no way get a spanner on it. Do I have to remove the engine mounts and lower the engine to get better access? cheers Robert
Ex Member
Removing the mounts and lowering (as per the manual) gives a lot more room. I think I used a socket with U-joint and some long extensions to reach this one. Some people remove the floor and access from inside the cab. Les Henson
A long extension bar over the top of the downpipe usually does the trick. Les.

Thats the way to do it, but theres a bit of guess work involved geting the socket in the right place.
