IainDB
Hi everyone, Now I have replaced bearings etc I am looking into the inside comforts. I was wondering if it was possible to fit speakers in the rear passenger door cards. Just that I have some decent speakers kicking around and thought about sticking them in there. Any one else done this?
BogMonster
The Discovery 2 has them fitted there as standard but I don't know if you can fit them on a D1, if that is what yours is.

geoffbeaumont
Standard locations are in the front doors, rear pillars and the sub, if you have one, goes in the back door. Base model had only speakers in the front doors. Not sure if any discoveries came with tweeters in the A-pillar trim, but the trim from later range rovers is the same and hi-spec softdashes had them so you can fit them that way. As to whether you could fit them in the rear doors - take one of the cards off and see if there's room without fouling the lock /door catch or window winder. If there is, then cutting the trim shouldn't be too difficult, but you'll have to run custom wiring into the door.
