Had look out for a while back in the mid 90's. Used to run track side fencing and vegetation clearence programmes for Rail Track in Wales, SW England, Midlands, Kent and Norfolk. Specialised in Tree work and removal of Jap Knot Weed. Then worked for Rail Property on inherited liabilities ion dead lines and hard work s(re-slabbing) on live stations. Spent a long time at Westbury and Cardiff. Did soffett arch and patris plate works on historic railway bridges hit by vehicles. Also did historic refurb works for guys like the London Underground and Rail Track. Do recall the pleasure of being in a tunnel recess when an intercity comes past? Never been so scared in my life... honitonhobbit
And those rats in the ducting? God they were sooo big. Part of my job was to run the gangs removing 'sharps' from the dens that the smack heads would make in the overgrown areas. Oh joy
