I bent the new one I fitted using a bit of scaffolding and some gentle heat, it now is tucked up right at the side under the highest point of the cross member if that makes sense, it used to go under far too low and often got caught and split - that's why I needed a new one, the new one hasn't been touched yet with a good amount of off-roading
