firemannotsam
Hi, I need a wiring multiplug for my airflow meter as mine has cracked and is falling apart and currently held on with tape and cableties! It's a Lucas 3AM airflow meter and the multiplug has 3 wires coming out of it going to the engine loom. Vehicle is a 1998 built Discovery V8 3.9 EFI. UK spec Anyone know where I might get one of these as it wont last much longer! Land Rover want £250+ for the complete engine loom, breakers want £100 for loom - don't want to pay that for a simple multiplug!!! Any help would be appreciated. teabag
Although I havent this problem, I can see what u mean for such a major componant it's very flimsy not even a rubber shroud over the plug. All I can suggest is have a look in a Maplin shop or RS or Farnell componants on line..Have you try'd a repair with this 'apoxi putty' thats on the market, u know the one that has two parts which u cut and mix together, U can then form form a new shell around the existing cracked one. Just a thought. Regards
FridgeFreezer
Do you mean this sort of thing: In which case you need Vehicle Wiring Products - don't forget to buy terminals & a rubber boot. And if you don't mean that sort of thing, post a picture I'm sure we can find the right bit.
Bull Bar Cowboy
These are also available form from polevolt, who are often a little cheaper than VWP..................http://www.polevolt.co.uk/ Ian
