That's because the default setting for folders is to hide the so called "known extension" of files and you didn't change that.

"exe" being one of the most "known" file extensions, the explorer hides it from you :)

Don't mind that, if you found the icon that starts the application, you're home.

to find the .exe icon, go into the folder you saved it to, right click the LR green oval named RAVE & send to desktop as a shortcut, works for me, I saved the disk with the Defender stuff on to a folder called RAVE Defender & with that created another folder for the 2nd disk info & called that Discovery RAVE. works fine on both PC's, if I want the Disco stuff I just open the Defender first then use the open new folder icon on the toolbar.

hi can anyone tell me if its possible to place the rave cd contents onto a pc hard drive ..and not have to run the cd to play it everytime its needed? cheers glenn

just install it like any other cd and you dont need it in your pc once its installed

I tried that way & it didn't work, the way I've described above works every time.
