I had a very interesting chat with a guy a few months back.

He purchases fleets of vehicles for aid contracts.

Up until, relatively recently, he was purchasing Land Rovers................

Not anymore !

He says LR has lost the plot in regards to the "Original Company Ethos"

The Quality control is always SECOND.

and, they are always very reluctant to admit problems with current models (eg. LR D3 Suspension)

Selling a Branded Image to the elite money sector of the Public is FIRST and foremost.

This guy is now purchasing reliable Nissans instead !

He also states that behinds the scenes, LR is "in a right shambles"...........

I was a little taken back when talking to him..........

He then went on to tell me, it wasn't really a surprise when he looked behind the scenes of Ford.......

He relates that Ford has been making an over-all loss for the last 3 years and is in a right mess...............

That might be the reason behind the recent Jaguar thread..............

This guy also stated that Jeremy Clarkson owns a Range Rover...................

a "gift" from Land Rover !

just a little food for thought.........

Kind Regards, gary

I'd like to think & hope it was just hearsay, but I have no reason to dis-believe the content of converstation I had.

Just sharing the content, that's all.

If you can share a more postive reality, I'll be very happy and eased.

Kind Regards, gary :)
