kingdong Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 Hi guys does anyone now where i can buy a pair of lucas( plastic type ) front side lights for my s2a i now paddocks sell wipac ones but they are not as good as the lucas ones. i have used lucas ones in the past and i fitted 10w bulbs in them saves me from using the head lights when i don't need them but the wipac ones won't take them as the lenses melt. cheers gee Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kingdong Posted April 5, 2008 Author Share Posted April 5, 2008 surprised the wiring hasn't been affected too. yeh i was told that back in the early 90s during that time the landy at the time did 5 over night trips to cornwall and they never gave any problems and i had it for 6 yrs as i said i tried to fit 10w bulbs inthe s2a i have now but the lights are wipac and they just melt the lenses. graham. I thought that 5 or 7 watts was the maximum you could use in sidelights, also there is a limit to the amount of light you can put out when the vehicle is parked.
