Baldewin
What about the 2.5na. Any issue running bio in it? Does it hurt the seals in the injector pump? Cheers
smo
What about the 2.5na. Any issue running bio in it? Does it hurt the seals in the injector pump?Cheers Again this is fine. Biodiesel should be manufactured to equivalent standards to mineral diesel so will run in any diesel car (however modern cars like to put warnings about it) The one to watch is SVO/WVO - WVO (waste veg) needs processing and is a no-no, SVO is ok - its new veg oil and can be used in 2.5, 200tdi, 20tdi straight without problem however it will eventually kill your pump seals, this could be 200miles, or 200,000 miles depending on the state of the pump, they can be rebuilt stronger tho to cope. tacr2man
Running on bio you will need to change your fuel filters after a short time as it cleans all the dino diesel gunk out . The other thing is bio usually does in the rubber spill pipes between the injectors .
